How to form words in Ho? Basic points to remember while forming words in Ho. • Ho words are different than English, so while writing Ho it has some different rules apart from English. • Like other language Ho is also written from left to right. • Words so formed may or may not contain same numbers of alphabets as it is pronounced. Example: - We have to write the word 𑢽𑣌𑣉𑣿 (Sakowan) In general it is the combination of 𑢽+ 𑢡+𑢬+𑢩+𑣿(In capital) 5 Numbers of letters 𑢽+𑣁+𑣌+𑣉+𑣿(In Small) = The result will be 𑢽𑣌𑣉𑣿 4 letters In the above result i.e. 𑢽𑣌𑣉𑣿,here the letter “𑢡 “ or “𑣁” is being omitted while writing because 𑢽 itself is pronounced like it is combination of 𑢽+𑢡, hence we write only 𑢽 in the word 𑢽𑣌𑣉𑣿(Sakowan). • Ho words do not mostly contains symbols like in odia, Hindi & other Indian languages which are called matras.
